Game of Tiaras

by Don Zolidis

When the aging king of a Magical Kingdom (England) decides to split his empire between his three daughters, Cinderella, Belle, and the Snow Queen (who in no way resembles Elsa from a certain famous movie), terrible, hilarious tragedy ensues. Combining the plot twists of Game of Thrones and the despair of Shakespearean tragedy, this adaptation of King Lear will leave the audience dying with laughter as the body count mounts. When you play Game of Tiaras, you win or you die.

Tell-Tale Heart

by Edgar Allan Poe, Dramatized by Luella McMahon

In comfortless surroundings, a young man plans and commits the “perfect crime.” When a detective stops by on a quite different matter, it becomes apparent that the young man has little to fear. The only trouble is, he can’t stop the pounding of the dead man’s heart. Why can’t the detective hear it? As the pounding grows louder and the tension increases, the audience realizes that they are watching the very madness of a murderer.

Romeo To Go

by Jonathan Rand

Due to budget cuts there will only be a single session of Drama One for the entire school year – and the class will only last 20 minutes. To make matters worse, the students are required to perform an entire Shakespeare play for a schoolwide assembly. Under the direction of the egomaniacal theatre teacher, the beginner students must pull together the fastest, cleanest, cheapest rendition of Romeo and Juliet the world has ever seen.

My wife and I were thoroughly entertained and delighted with the North Central production of "The Drowsy Chaperone". Congratulations on keeping the bar of expectations high. You are quite talented and gifted!
