Congratulations NCSH Thespians — 2017 State Festival
Each year, North Central High School Thespians participate in the Indiana State Thespian Festival and the International Thespian Festival. Students compete in performance and technical categories, and those receiving a “Superior” rating at State may proceed to the International Festival.
Earlier this month, North Central Thespian Troup #1851 attended the 2017 Indiana State Thespian Festival held in South Bend, Indiana. Six students competed in the Individual Events competition. Avery Stocker, Eliza Craig, Terrence Lambert, Jacob Gage and Chase Payne all won “Excellent” the second highest ranking. Jacob Hampton won “Superior,” the highest ranking and can now compete at the International Thespian Festival this summer in Lincoln, Nebraska.
In addition, six students auditioned for colleges and scholarships and won over $61,000 which was just over 30% of the total amount awarded.
